Moodie & Associates have been providing civil infrastructure design and construction supervision services to local, state and federal government agencies and private sector clients since 1985. We have offices in Cairns and Melbourne and we are currently involved with a number of land development and retirement village projects in Queensland and Victoria.

The team is led by Tony Moodie, and is supported by a number of key experienced civil designers and engineers based in Melbourne and Cairns, including Sandeep Baral, Jerry Kassab, Martin Masina and Daryl Walker. We have long-established and effective working relationships with architects, environmental consultants, flora and fauna consultants, geotechnical engineers, landscape architects, surveyors and traffic engineers, and we are able to establish at short notice a multi-disciplinary team to drive the planning process effectively and efficiently to a conclusion for complex multi-faceted land development projects.

Once the planning approval or DA is in place we are able to offer a “one-stop-shop” for the full range of services required for the construction of the civil infrastructure for greenfields and brownfields subdivisions, townhouse developments and retirement village projects. These services range from initial planning-level investigations, including costings and development feasibility cash flow modeling, through the submission and negotiation of the planning permit or development application to the detailed design and construction supervision of the required civil infrastructure works.

In addition to our civil design, documentation and construction management services we are increasingly being asked to provide project management services for land development projects; these additional services include the development of project marketing strategies, display village establishment and operation and the development of strategic marketing alliances with builders.
