We worked in a consultant team managed by Becton to prepare civil infrastructure designs for the development of 129 ILU’s and a community centre on the site of the former Rowville drive-in in Stud Road, Rowville. We prepared detailed designs for all civil infrastructure works for Knox City Council and South East Water approval. Novel and/or cost-saving aspects of the civil infrastructure design included the use of enlarged underground pipe drains controlled by a sophisticated two-stage outlet for the provision of on-site stormwater detention, and the grading of the roads to provide disabled access compliance everywhere through the development.
